Sir Bob Geldof Backs eBay To The Wall

After finding out free Live 8 concert tickets were put on eBay for sale, Geldof, the organizer of the 1985 Live Aid concert asked his fans to bid outrageous amounts of money for the tickets after eBay denied his request to stop the sale of the tickets, according to the BBC News.

Man, eBay should have researched who was making the request. A musician and activist who has earned his Knighthood and has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize three times deserves respect.

Apparently, eBay had a change of heart after Live 8 ticket bids soared into the millions. Chalk up another victory for this Knight.
