There sure seems to be a lot going on in the rap world as the Notorious B.I.G. case just keeps going, going and going like the Energizer Bunny.
His former sidekick Lil' Kim now has plenty of time on her hands to write a new rap album after receiving a sentence of one year and one day for lying under oath.
Seems as one rap trial comes to a closure another one breaths new life.

Taxes, Lies And Lil' Kim
Rapper Lil' Kim has been spending most of her money on the finer things in life and is now scrambling to pay the IRS nearly $1 million in taxes before she hears her sentence for obstruction and perjury, according to
NY Newsday.
It's the American dream to live the good life and enjoy the perks of being successful. And it's also a way of life that one must pay their taxes to Uncle Sam.
It's time to hold someone of fame and fortune accountable for their actions. Let them feel the wrath of ole Uncle Sam.
Looks to me like Lil' Kim will not pass Go, and will not collect $200.

Park's Lawyers Need To Take A Seat
A U.S. District Court is yet to make a decision about legal fees requested by lawyers for Rosa Parks from a settled six-year-old lawsuit over use of her name in a hit song by the rap group OutKast, according to
The Detroit News.
Wouldn't you know that lawyers would be trying to nickel and dime successful entertainers for thoughts of a bigger payday for their firms.
What gets me is the fact that a rap group writes a song titled Rosa Parks that includes a line like move to the back of the bus, and now lawyers take the front seat.

So R. Kelly, Does Anyone Really Know What Time It Is?
The timetable for the alleged sex videotaping of superstar R. Kelly with a juvenile girl has to be narrowed down per the judge hearing the child pornography case, according to the Chicago Tribune.
I love how high profile cases can get drawn out for what seems like a lifetime. Most of us would probably be thrown in jail for this alleged offense and never be heard from again.
In today's world you just need a nice bankroll to finance one of the many top shelf attorneys who know how to win.
Selling 3.6 million albums after being arrested -- Priceless!
